Many bus and subway systems in Canada are excellent, providing regular service to riders. Many offer special services for people with mobility problems (physically handicapped) and for bicycle riders.
Most cities in Canada have websites that explain their transit
(bus, subway or train) system.
In many of the websites you can find schedules, maps, how to get
to major tourist attractions, and information about fares (how
much to pay).
Buses are often divided into 'routes'. In most cities, routes
have a number. Some of them have a direction.
Example: '95 Baseline'.
Most transit systems have monthly or yearly passes that allow you to ride the bus as many times as you want for one price.
